We are the Marching Band in the North with twelve musicians, four ladies of the Second Line, the Grand Marshall, and the Standard Bearer. After an inspiring visit to the Jazz Festival in New Orleans, our brass band was founded in 1992, modelled on those famous bands.
Innumerable gigs in German-speaking countries allow our 18-piece band to look back on more than 13 years of successful musical experience. Five times we have been invited to the International Dixieland Festival in Dresden where our music provided the swinging atmosphere of the New Orleans- and Dixieland-Jazz. If you want to plunge into our rousing spirit of the New Orleans- and Dixieland-Jazz, you can engage us as a large or small group depending on your requirements.
Large group: 12 musicians, 4 Second Line ladies, Grand Marshall, Standard Bearer
Small group: 4 to 8 musicians
We provide the atmosphere that goes with all types of events: town festival, christening of a ship, Riverboat Shuffle, anniversary, birthday, or opening of a shop. After prior consultation with the musical leader of our band, special musical requests will be granted as well.
